2023: April 30 Day Paint Challenge
Paint challenges are a good way to have a daily creative practice. They are challenging for a reason - most simply in terms of finding the time to actually sit down and paint something!
In April I focused on sketchbook exercise from @rebelunicorncrafts. These exercises are so so so so much fun! I love just playing with paint and seeing what happens.
I'm still not at the point where I can just sit down and look at a blank page and be able to paint, well, anything. I still follow tutorials, videos, kits, and books. And maybe that's all I'll ever do and that's okay with me. But these exercises were loose and fun and messy! I very unexpectedly loved some of the results!
